The Location of this Position is 1190 Devon Park Dr, Wayne PA USLI CafePosition Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in creating and executing an innovative menu that reflects our commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of café operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control, to ensure exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor profiles, while optimizing café efficiency and minimizing waste. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive work environment and promoting continuous learning and growth. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus, special promotions, and innovative dishes that appeal to our diverse clientele and keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized café environment at all times. Stay abreast of industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing to continuously elevate our offerings and maintain our competitive edge. Foster strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local producers to source the highest quality ingredients and support sustainability initiatives. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant, café, or similar establishment. Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of culinary professionals. Creative flair and passion for food, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in every dish. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with management, staff, and vendors. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe café environment.
